Du 12 au 15 septembre 2012 - 3ème congrès ESHET-JSHET

La Société japonaise pour l’histoire de la pensée économique (JSHET) a été créée en avril 1950, essentiellement dans le but de promouvoir l’étude de l’histoire de l’économie, et l’histoire de la pensée sociale et économique, mais aussi de favoriser l’échange international pour ses membres. La Société donne des conférences ouvertes, et reste en contact avec les sociétés à l’étranger.

C’est dans le même esprit que la Société européenne d’histoire de la pensée économique (ESHET) a été fondée en décembre 1995. Cette société a pour objectif de :

• Favoriser l’enseignement et la recherche dans l’histoire de la pensée économique en Europe, en tenant compte des différentes traditions et langues ;
• Faciliter la coopération entre les sociétés nationales européennes et les organisations économiques dans l’histoire de la pensée économique mais également établir des liens avec les sociétés et les organisations économiques pour l’histoire de la pensée économique en dehors de l’Europe ;
• Mettre en avant les communications et les échanges d’idées entre enseignants et chercheurs européens en histoire de la pensée économique, organiser des conférences, séminaires et universités d’été ;
• Introduire des méthodes innovantes dans l’enseignement de l’histoire de la pensée économique.

Ces deux sociétés sont très importantes puisque l’ESHET compte plus de 300 membres et la JSHET compte environ 800 membres.

 

 

 

 

 

L’objectif principal d’une telle manifestation est avant tout scientifique. Il s’agit de construire un réseau d’excellence en HPE sur des projets de recherche variés, des encadrements conjoints de thèses de doctorat, etc. Ce troisième congrès vise à la fois à maintenir une certaine continuité dans les thèmes scientifiques sur lesquels travaille l’ESHET en coopération avec ses collègues japonais, mais aussi à ouvrir progressivement les discussions sur des sujets nouveaux, qui peuvent devenir de prochains projets de recherche conjoints, et à garantir ainsi la possibilité d’intégrer de nouveaux doctorants.
